grew up in New York state between the Adirondack and Catskill mountains and now lives in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Charles is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef with Emeritus status and has won numerous awards in pastry competitions. Working in the hospitality industry as a pastry chef and instructor of pastry arts for over 50 years, he created sculptures and other works of art from chocolate and sugar. Since retiring, he’s extended my passion for sculpting by using a process called cold-cast bronze, giving artistic works the look of the age-old bronze casting techniques without using a forge. His other passion has been photography for many years. It allows him the opportunity to see the world through a lens and capture its beauty.
